Maintenance

Accurate and careful patient assessment is one of the most integral parts of orthodontic treatment. Once a particular treatment strategy is started, changes are often difficult, so it is so important to make sure that the proper testing and diagnostics are established on the onset of your patient strategy.

 Discovering Your Issues

Many think orthodontics is just for crooked teeth, but Dr. Sieberth can help you with many issues affecting your smile. Are you dealing with bite issues? Are you experiencing jaw pain or had a traumatic injury? Dr. Sieberth believes in finding all of the concerns that you have about your mouth before beginning any diagnostics

Visiting With Dentist And Other Specialists

During the assessment phase, Dr. Sieberth takes the time to communicate with your dentist or any other specialists that might have referred you to our office. This is a crucial part of your assessment process and provides valuable information that can’t be obtained by just performing tests.

Data Accumulation – Testing

Your treatment recommendation will always begin with a full exploration of your orthodontic testing, including a medical and dental history. This is followed by a facial and oral exam, extra facial and intra-oral photographs, mounted diagnostic casts and other tests performed by Dr. Sieberth. In addition to their diagnostic value, the pre-treatment records are also used as a baseline to evaluate treatment results.

Will Intervention Benefit You?

Once all of the assessment processes have been completed, only then will treatment recommendations be made.
